THE PROS AND CONS OF INTEGRATING COLLABORATIVE LEARNING INTO LESSON PLAN DESIGN

چکیده

Collaborative learning is a learner-centered approach that facilitates students to involve in team work order achieve certain goal activities. This descriptive qualitative study investigated the pros and cons of integrating collaborative into lesson plan design from perspectives thirty primary school teacher education program. Questionnaire interview were used figure out students’ dealing with issues. The data collected, classified, analyzed, interpreted. results revealed providing support system, developing communication skills, promoting autonomous learning, enhancing interaction, motivation, confidence, critical thinking, enriching knowledge, insight, experience are among learning. Meanwhile, include imbalance task distribution, personal conflict, distraction causes. Therefore, guiding, monitoring, evaluating lecturer highly required maximize minimize cons. It expected this research provides new utilization EFL activities especially design.
